How long will the recruitment process take?
The duration of our process varies, depending on the availability of opportunities. Please review our Private Sector Process and Federal Process for additional details regarding the length of the recruitment process.

Do you only hire people with disabilities?
Our customers partner with us to meet their diversity recruitment goals as it pertains to hiring individuals with disabilities. Therefore, our customers are expecting us to submit only candidates who meet the definition of having a disability.

How did I do during the interviewing process?
It is generally not our practice to discuss outcomes of previous interviews during the early stages of the interviewing process. Nor do we give pointers for success with future interviews with the Bender Consulting staff. Our process for finding qualified employees to fill positions is long and extensive. This is in an effort to ensure that the right person is found to meet both Bender Consulting ' needs and the needs of our customers. We must first evaluate skills against opportunities that we may have available, prior to discussing individual interviewing process outcomes.

What companies do you work with?
Representative companies that Bender Consulting has developed partnerships with include CSC, Bayer Corporation, and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.

If I have questions after an interview, who can I contact?
Please complete the career search status request form and a member of our recruitment team will get back to you.

Do you pay for relocation?
No, we do not provide reimbursement for relocation expenses.

Why does the recruitment process take so long?
You may read more about our interview/hiring procedures in the federal and private sector career interview process sections of this website.

When do I start?
This varies from opening to opening, and is determined solely by our customer. A start date is determined only after our customer has selected a Bender Consulting consultant.

Explain the meaning of "lease-to-hire"
Lease-to-hire means that an employee of Bender Consulting receives benefits and salary from Bender Consulting for an initial contract period. At the end of the contract period, the customer has the ability to extend a direct offer of employment to the consultant. Our customer makes this decision based on the performance of the consultant during the contract period.

What if I want to remain an employee of Bender Consulting after the terms of an initial contract?
Most employees of Bender Consulting do transition over to become a direct employee of our customer. However, prior to employment, discussion is encouraged between the Bender Consulting employee and the Bender Consulting staff, as to an employee's specific desires, as Bender Consulting does employ several individuals who work for Bender Consulting for the long-term.
